Process and Consequences of Warnings
Under this new approach, the question arises: what happens after a report? The statement states that “a player who receives two warnings will be banned from the platform for one day, while one who accumulates four warnings will face a seven-day suspension.” These minor penalties limit access to Xbox’s online features, making it impossible to interact with other players.
Gradation of Warnings
The system is characterized by establishing different levels of warnings depending on the severity of the behavior. A single strike will be applied in cases of cheating, offensive language and illegal tactics. Two strikes will be assigned for sexual misconduct, harassment or intimidation. Three strikes will be reserved for hate speech.
The Limit and Persistence
A maximum limit of eight minor sanctions is established, each of which will expire six months after its application. However, when this threshold is exceeded, the system will proceed to a total suspension of twelve months.
