“Prince Harry makes a strange comment about his late ex-girlfriend”

Prince Harry addressed the subject of his late ex-girlfriend Caroline Flack in an unusual way, declaring: “She is no longer with us.”

The Duke of Sussex appeared at the High Court of Justice Royal in London on Wednesday to testify against British newspaper group Mirror Group Newspapers (MGN). He alleged that tabloids had illegally tapped his phone in 2004, leading paparazzi to discover his whereabouts while he was with Flack.

According to the BBC, Harry, 38, told the court: “History makes it very clear that the photographers were there before I arrived. They saw me arrive… The night was specifically between Caroline and me, but she’s no longer with us.”

The relationship between the couple occurred in 2009, after they were introduced by a mutual friend, Caroline Pinkham. Flack shared in her 2014 memoir, titled “Storm in a C Cup,” that she was excited to meet Prince Harry, but their romance was brief and ended when it became public.

Caroline Flack, former “X-Factor” host, passed away at the age of 40 in February 2020. During his testimony, Harry pointed out that British tabloids obtained information about his relationships and personal life through unethical methods, such as intercepting voicemail and illegally collecting information. According to him, the tabloids published incorrect articles mixed with fragments of truth, which affected his mental health.

Prince Harry also mentioned how the press was a major factor in his split from ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy, as living under constant surveillance brought stress and tension into the relationship.

Finally, Harry found happiness with his wife Meghan Markle, whom he married in 2018 and has two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. Currently, the couple resides in California after stepping away from their royal duties.
