A childhood linked to nature
Anna-Lisa Christiane was born in Wellington, New Zealand, on November 18, 1994. He grew up on a farm in the New Zealand countryside, where he grew up with his parents and two brothers. Since childhood, Christiane felt connected to nature and was interested in the environment.
“I loved spending time outdoors,” Christiane said in an interview, and “I was always playing in the forest or in the river. I loved learning about plants and animals.”
A crown to boost your activism
In 2015, Christiane was crowned Miss Earth New Zealand. This degree gave him a platform to talk about climate change and other environmental issues.
“It was an incredible opportunity,” Christiane said. “It gave me the opportunity to share my message with a wider audience.”
Miss Earth 2015
Christiane represented New Zealand at Miss Earth 2015, which was held in Manila, Philippines. He failed to qualify for the final, but took the opportunity to talk about climate change and other environmental concerns.
“It was an amazing experience,” Christiane said. “I had the opportunity to meet people from all over the world and learn about their environmental issues.”
A modeling career
After her reign as Miss Earth New Zealand, Christiane became a professional model. He has worked for brands such as Fashion Nova, Guess and Maybelline.
“I’ve always loved fashion,” Christiane said. “It’s a way of expressing myself.”
A committed activist
Christiane is an ambassador for the Miss Earth Foundation and works to promote awareness of climate change. He has also participated in numerous environmental campaigns, such as beach cleanups and reforestation.
“I’m committed to doing my part to help the environment,” Christiane said. “I think we all have a role to play.”
