Sabrina Durán Montero, a young Chilean woman known on social media as “Ina,” did not shy away from admitting her involvement in the world of narcotics, proudly flaunting it on platforms like Tiktok. Her notoriety began to grow while she served a sentence in a Chilean prison, sharing her life from behind bars.
Just a month ago, Sabrina was released from prison after serving her sentence for her involvement in the illegal drug trade. Her rise to social media fame occurred while she was behind bars in Chile. However, her return to a life of freedom was short-lived as she tragically met her demise in broad daylight.
The Controversial Operation of the Narco TikToker
On Tiktok, Sabrina shared content ranging from beauty products to transformations in her body and simple dances in front of her phone’s camera. But before becoming a social media influencer, Ina was arrested alongside her brothers.
Sabrina was located in the Peñaflor neighborhood, where she was accused of being the leader of a narcotics trafficking gang in which her brothers actively participated in drug-dealing operations in the area. The operation to apprehend the Tiktok star required the mobilization of a hundred Chilean police officers.
When the authorities arrived at her location, Sabrina tried to escape through a window upon realizing the massive presence of officers, but she could not avoid her arrest. The narcotrafficking leader was under investigation for her involvement in activities that generated insecurity by clashing with other criminal groups in the region.

On a fateful Monday in the municipality of Padre Hurtado, Sabrina fell victim to a violent robbery while driving her car. It was 9:00 in the morning, and the assailants launched a ruthless attack on the narco influencer, shooting her at point-blank range seven times. This violent incident sent shockwaves throughout the Andean nation.
The death of Sabrina Durán deeply affected her Tiktok followers, who paid tribute to her in farewell videos and messages of remembrance. Metropolitan Occident Prosecutor Pablo Sabaj stated that the attack was premeditated and direct, saying, “These individuals had a preconceived plan for their actions. Preliminary evidence suggests they were waiting for her.”
